Yes, Ascend enrichment programs are a ministry of GraceLife Church of Pineville. We provide a Biblically-centered education based upon our firm belief in Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible.
Our teachers and staff are hand-selected through our extensive process of interviews, references, and background checks. We look for individuals who are actively seeking Christ and display qualities of Christian character, responsibility and integrity in everything they do. All of our teachers receive training including child development, classroom management, CPR, and First-Aid.
Children can be dropped off in their classroom starting at 6:30am and must be picked up by 6:00pm. A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for any child not picked up by 6:00pm.

Each day at an Ascend camp includes new and exciting experiences. Each week offers a variety of activities and field trips specific to the camp theme.

Throughout the day campers will follow a schedule of activities, some structured and some unstructured. Some examples of activities include Bible, Art, Science, Athletics, Music, Culinary, and STEM. See the calendar for specific camp themes and dates.

Ascend Enrichment Camp weekly rate is the same whether the child attends 3 or 5 days, and we are confident that your child is not going to want to miss out on any of the activities during the week.
Ascend Enrichment after-school program does accept drop-ins when space is available. If a child attends 3 or more days in a week it is considered a full week.

You will select the specific camps your child will attend over the summer. Spaces are limited so you will want to sign up early to make sure your child gets to attend the camp of their choice.

Our staff may administer medication to a child if specific criteria is met: Signed permission to administer, medication contained in the original container clearly labeled with the child’s name and dosage instructions printed on it.

For any Emergency Medication (Epi-pen, inhaler) we must have a medical action plan from the child’s physician on file before a child may attend.

Parents are responsible for handing over their child’s medication to their teacher on the first day of camp along with the permission to administer medication form.

Ascend Enrichment program provides both a morning and afternoon snack for full-day programs and an afternoon snack for after-school programs.

Children will need to bring their own lunch if attending full day.

We invite any elementary children ages 5–12 years to enroll in our programs. However, in order to make GraceLife Ascend enrichment programs a safe environment for everyone and due to the restrictions of our facility, students must be capable of meeting certain physical requirements.

Students must be able to take care of their own physical needs, such as toileting, feeding, and changing clothes.

Students must be able to transition from one activity to another while also being able to physically walk up and down stairs and across large spaces both on and off campus.
